#399: I have turned seventeen muahahahaha.
Happy Birthday myself~ (*´▽`*)For some reason birthdays seem more and more like a "self-reflection" day...
Like, "What have i been doing for the past 17 years of my life" orz
Recently my birthday treats have become Kinokuniya trips LOL. Plus they have an ongoing sale now omg. And the newly opened Jem has Kinokuniya too! It's gonna be harder to resist the temptation of Kinokuniya now OTL
Well, I went to Orchard today but didn't end up doing much. I wanted to treat myself to good food (like the Japanese mini donuts they have at Taka...), but i couldn't bear to... uhh... spend money on food. Yeah. (´ー`)
Also wanted to visit Ki-Shun to get some second hand Japanese books so i can highlight them without feeling like i'm destroying it uhhh ;-;
But i didn't go in the end =/ Maybe another day.
Loot from the shopping i did recently (Popular Expo Fair + Kinokuniya).
Bought my first Japanese non-fiction book! Thought it looked interesting when i first saw it @ Liang Court last time, and then someone wrote about it on her language blog so i decided to buy it (*‘∀‘)
Oh and i recently watched the Kiki's delivery service movie!
Sat down on this bench in Takashimaya and kind of slacked...
Recently i found several language learning blogs and they were really inspiring ( ;∀;)
Now i have more motivation to study Japanese harder! Can i really pass N2 this December...? T_T
Well at this moment i have no idea. My current aim is to complete N3 stuff during this holiday... and then i'll use the 6 months i have to study N2. 6 months is probably too short... but i'll try anyway lol.
Oh yeah and recently i chatted (typing, not speaking) with a Japanese friend i made on Twitter. Geh, so scary. My brain can't think fast enough and my fingers can't type Japanese fast enough (>_<)
Even so i'm getting really excited for end July when the Nanao students are coming over for inbound!!
Though i heard that not many of them have laptops? That was a few years back though.
But i really hope to make some friends that i can chat with even after the exchange program, like on Facebook/Twitter/Skype ><
Oh and i've been listening to Sekai no Owari recently...
My favourite! They're such a whacky bunch ahaha~
I really like the english parts and the
「僕らにはこんなことしか出来ないけど
今日は君に笑ってほしいんだ
僕らにはこんなことしか出来ないけど
今日は君に歌ってほしいんだ」part ♥♥
So catchyyyyyyyyy ♪
