It's nearing the end of 2012 already. Last few days of work :3Not really looking forward to stock count or moving the stocks out of the room though... =/
In the end i grabbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" 8GB Wifi-only tablet on the last day of Challenger's member promotion of $298... and a 1TB HDD :3 I quite like it though, it's pretty nice to read on~ I find it weird that they don't utilise the whole screen for the apps though ._. It's like you can only put apps in a square area on the screen rather than having just a margin... Managed to find a case and got a screen protector applied too :D

#373: Another wave is coming!
Phew. Work's been pretty tiring these few days, preparing for orientation.Actually, it's been peaceful since we settled the organising in both rooms. But yesterday was just super tiring man. After 6 hours of boring and sleepy selling, we still had to move all the lower secondary uniforms down to the hall, which was pretty far away... and sort them properly. OTL
Boss bought us free Mcdonalds for dinner though :D
Today was the orientation day for secondary schools. It was better than i expected, honestly. Maybe it's because i didn't have to do the selling hahaha. We had 20+ students helping us just for orientation lol. After 12pm, sales were really few o.o Was so sleepy and hungry then x.x Then when it was almost 3pm, i went up to help Jing Wei sort the stocks the students brought up... Gosh, it's totally like when the stocks were first here D: Messy and unsorted... I still have to continue sorting tomorrow, but Jing Wei won't be going tomorrow T_T
Somehow nowadays i'm having bad luck with buses... x.x At night, a bus just drove past even though i flagged it down. And then today, i even ran to catch the bus, but it didn't stop. It was even stopping there until when i almost reached, she (yes, a female driver) just drove off, pointing her thumb towards the back. I think she might be saying "take the bus behind", idk. But the bus behind wasn't a bus i could take. I just went wtf.
Hostel check-in and moving in is soon... I feel like there's a lot of little things ugh D:
Oh yeah and i got to know my 2013 class... Don't really like it as of now... Maybe i'll start liking it after orientation. It looks like one of the smaller classes though.
Got the Donna Toki dictionary at Kino during the 20% fair~
It's still on, until the 22th. Maybe i'll make one more trip on Saturday... o.o
I think i saw Claire at Liang Court o.o watching a Japanese music showcase thingy. The jazzy christmas event or something.

Google Nexus is still available though...
Maybe i should just get nexus for now, since my dad says he's getting a phone for me in the middle of next year... I wanna read my ebooks dammit! Don't wanna spend so much on books OTL

First week of school uniform job over! Got my pay in cash too ^^The pay's supposed to be weekly, but then the last 2 weeks of pay will be held back till the end of everything which should be before New Year's.
Still waiting for SGS pay >.>
Apparently the Ganesan guy was from an agency... pfft. Screw their $5 pay man. RecruitExpress pays $6++ for the same job man... I knew because there was someone hired by them working together with me -_-
They gave the billing to SGS on 6 December. It's been 5 days, still haven't received any pay yet.
Well, they have to wait for SGS to issue the check, then their company will pay me via bank transfer. Hurry up gdi ._.
My current job's pretty okay so far... a bit too physical for me, but oh well. Low pay too =/
They give you free company t-shirts though lolol. Really not looking forward to RV orientation... gonna be chaos everywhere /fliptable
Gonna be doing RV stocktake tomorrow... I hope more people come and help so we won't take too long Q_Q and i hope they bring rubber bands LOL.
Oh yeah. The 14-year-old girl i was working with in West Wood...
Apparently she has a boyfriend, and he gave her 3 iPod Touches o_o
And she has a 10-year-old cousin who ran away from home twice.
Bizarre or what.
Oh and there's also this guy who's 14-years-old but looks much older.
All the people have Samsung smartphones now /fliptable

I might be getting my dad's old HTC Desire HD... But the touchscreen's a bit wonky =/
It's a bit too big for my hand, but i don't really mind hahaha. Bigger screen to read on \o/
If i'm gonna be using the HTC Desire, then maybe i'll reconsider getting a tablet o.o
Still tempted to get a tablet though ><
But then if i have a smartphone AND a tablet, i'll probably only be using the tablet for reading... =/

Man... i used to use my iPod to take photos of the books that i'm planning to check out, but now that my iPod's screwed, i have to write them down, or if the HTC phone works before the 14th, then i'll use that~
I really hope i can use the phone though OTL
A smartphone would be really convenient in that i won't have to carry around my phone + a smart device >.>
Because my phone isn't a smartphone... and the camera sucks big time.
Plus if i don't get a tablet, i'd have more savings :D

Forgot about JLPT in my last post lol.
JLPT was quite easy, apart from a few questions which i completely didn't see before.
There was one question, about ちゅうし, a word that i never came across before. I tried guessing the kanji (and meaning) and it turned out i was correct! :O It was actually 中止... But even after checking the dictionary i still didn't quite know which one was the correct answer OTL. I had narrowed it down to 2 choices, but... One was talking about stopping/pausing/discontinuing the entering into university, while the other was about a festival being cancelled/stopped because of a typhoon... I chose the university one, but i think the correct answer might be the festival one :( Might not get full marks for vocab...
Grammar... should be okay o.o;
Listening was pretty scary... It was like normal Japanese speed and the conversation was only spoken once @A@
Still, i shouldn't do too bad...
Should definitely pass, it's just about how high i can get...
First day of work selling school uniforms!
It was at West Grove Primary, but we were selling West Wood Primary school uniforms LOL.
Anyway, i think it was the P1 registration day and the first day of uniform sales. There were quite a lot of people... I was in charge of the shoes, and at the end of the day 70+ pairs of shoes were sold! :O
I'm going to River Valley SS tomorrow though. Gonna be working with Jing Wei \o/
The boss said that River Valley is more stressful than West Wood O.o
But Jing Wei said that today was slack... idk. Maybe it'll be a lot worse later on o.o
Hmm, should be able to earn $300+ from this... I have 11 days of work :D
About $35 earned per day, so it should be around $385 :3
After all the jobs are done, i should have about $750 total?
STILL can't decide between Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

My job at SGS ended! Getting my pay on Monday or later, since the QA Manager is passing my timesheet to the guy who's supposed to pay me only on Monday... Probably being paid via bank transfer, since i'm not going there anymore, unless they make me O.oGonna be selling school uniforms for the rest of the holidays. Have to report at 7am which is so early omg T_T Gonna be working for about 3.5 weeks... but i don't think it's everyday o.o
Since my iPod Touch got screwed over, i've been considering a few options.
1. Get it repaired. ($90): Risky.
2. Get a new iPod Touch 4g. (~$268): Getting the same thing?
3. Get a new iPod Touch 5g. (~$398): Can't jailbreak yet.
4. Get a Google Nexus 7. (~$329?): Android tablet, bigger screen.
5. Trade it in for a new iPod Touch. (4/5g, $???)
As of now, i have about $350 from my SGS job...
The cheapest option is to get it repaired, duh. And it's kind of a pity to get a new device since my iPod Touch is only less than 2 years...
The place i'm planning to get it repaired it looks pretty reliable...
I really like the Calvetica app on iOS, and i don't know if Android has any good calendar apps that i like... they all look so ugly OTL
And I want something that i can read comfortably on, but isn't too big. It doesn't have to fit in my pocket.
But i also want a rear camera... =/
I'm really leaning towards Nexus 7... but idk D:
It only has a front-facing camera with no rear camera :(
Next in line would be the iPod Touch 5g i guess. The red version available online is so pretty *A*
Or maybe i could see if Apple accepts trade-ins... but then i wouldn't be able to get the red one...
Guess i'll go poke around and get hands on with the stuff i'm interested in... and get my iPod Touch properly diagnosed... The digitizer's probably spoiled though.
I probably should wait till my job's over and i've gotten my pay...
The most i can wait is till school reopens...
