#413: Nanao, AFA, ARP, uni, BnS Sendai Nika
Long post ahead haha. This is why i should just blog whenever there's an event and not wait till /this/ long orz. Not that detailed because some events are kind of old already orz.

First off, Nanao. IT'S THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED IN MY LIFE.
I really had tons of fun even though i had a fever for the the first few days and had my period during the 2nd half -_-
Seriously man, i really felt like crying when i first felt the fever coming on at the airport... Luckily it was after the heat sensor so i could at least still go to Nanao... I joined in the school activities even though i was having a fever haha. Only skipped the night performance practice to sleep early... i was familiar with the dance already anyway. Still had to suffer from cough for the rest of the trip though ;-;
Nanao's a really nice place, with lots of greenery, buildings are not everywhere...
It was really cool to walk across the railway track while walking to the school haha. Doesn't happen in Singapore. Also got the chance to sleep in a futon and try my host family's ofuro (bathtub)! The ofuro water is heated to quite a high temperature, about 40 degrees. It was really nice though. My buddy's house was really pretty too! It's mostly made out of wood!

This year's AFA wasn't that good... or maybe it's just me getting less and less interested in anime and spending money on that... I mostly spent in the Artist Alley, as usual. Got another Einlee artbook whee. And some pretty bookmarks! There was a life-size (?) titan head on display haha. Itou Kashitarou (utaite) performed at the Mini Stage but i kind of missed it haha. So glad to see more Japanese people coming to Singapore, utaites, bands etc. :D
Now i would be SO happy if HSJ/KAT-TUN/Kisumai held a concert in Singapore T_T

Because recently i went down memory lane and kind of got obsessed with some Johnny's groups again HAHA. And now i love HSJ more than ever ;-;
But seriously, they sing, dance and even do random acrobatics... appear in all sorts of TV programs... you can really see how much effort they put into their job...
KAT-TUN's MC in one of their concert DVDs is super funny xD   They are so lovable.
And Kisumai on rollerblades is the best.
Bought a copy of Myojo during a Kino 20% discount and got a jumbo poster of HSJ/Kisumai haha.
Probably putting up the HSJ side xD

ARP. I really don't like ARP. It's like we've only got 2 months or so to work on it. I hate how they don't give us the relevant information early. And hostel should be from Year 5 Sem 2 to Year 6 Sem 1. It's mostly during the holidays that we will go for ARP really often isn't it.
And i don't like my group members i'm sorry. One barely does any work, and i can't work well with the other... Guess this is like a challenge for me, when i go out into the world and start working.
Though i can't say that i'm very enthusiastic about ARP. I've barely done any literature review. (though partly because there aren't much articles about our topic...)
The other day i just did one whole day of ARP, 10am to 5.45pm, on my own. Gosh, i was tired out man.

And then the day after the tiring ARP session, i went for a programme called BnS (Brothers and Sisters, lol) where i brought 7 Japanese students from Sendai Nika High School! It was a good experience. Made me realise, again, how socially awkward i am orz. I'm bad at this kind of thing man. But it was still fun! Though my legs are now dead. We went to the Peranakan Museum, Chinatown (Sri Marimman Temple, street market), had delicious chicken rice at Maxwell Food Centre, made a wasted trip to Little India (they wanted to go shopping but they ended up not buying anything) and finally Bugis, where they got some food as souvenirs at Cold Storage. They were quite excited to go to a supermarket LOL. Man i wish i spent more time at the supermarket in Japan :(  The first time we ended up spending most of our time taking neoprints and the second time was just following my host family to get groceries for dinner... I think i will raid the supermarket the next time i get to visit Japan LOL. Really hope i can visit the Nanao students during their graduation...

Recently i've been worrying quite a fair bit about uni... T_T
Like looking at my choices and being unable to decide.
I really want to study in a Japan uni if possible, because i want to stay in Japan, even if it's for a few years or so. If i'm going to a Japan uni, it'll be nice if i could study (Graphic?) Design... while studying uni Japanese. But all the procedures look wayyy too complicated D:  And then there's the cost to worry about too.
Otherwise, i'm probably gonna stay in Singapore, hopefully NUS if i can get in with my /average/ CAP. But i can't decide whether to study Design, Japanese Studies, or Psychology in NUS ugh. And not knowing how uni works is scary. Really scary. And again, i hate how information is not readily available for us. It seems to be like a modular system, so i guess i could take all 3 kinds of modules during my first year or something? UGH.

The ONE OK ROCK concert which i chose to skipped ended recently...
If the coming RADWIMPS concert next June isn't that expensive then i'll go =v=
